Life on this earth is never and will never be perfect. Life tends to hurt sometimes.

When times are tough, do you wallow and become paralyzed in a victim role?

Or do you get a glimpse of perspective and find gratitude in what is good around you?

Perspective can always change our attitude. It helps to take a step back when you find yourself lost in the spiral of negativity. Take a realistic look around you and SEE the good. This is not to minimize and dismiss your pain. This is about gaining perspective. Your sad is still sad even when you can look around and see good. It doesn’t cancel it out.

Getting a different perspective can help you feel more balanced in your pain as you process it. The intent is to help you not get sucked into the black hole of being negative and a victim.

Next time you feel yourself slipping down that path, remember to check yourself and gain more perspective.
